Owner David Silva began an interest in ceramic tile installation as a teenager working on remodeling family homes. In 1986, he earned bachelor’s degrees in both Management and Marketing from U-Mass Dartmouth. Later he combined his business background and tile experience to start Berkley Custom Tile as a one-man operation. The company has since grown to service customers such as Exxon/Mobil, Dunkin Donuts and McDonalds all over New England, as well as homeowners and local builders.
